Checked Sept 30: Sapphire Reserve's new monthly DoorDash promo, the Chase cards that move to 4:3 for Hyatt transfers, the Q4 Freedom categories, Bilt Rent Day, Alaska's earning choice and what ends October 1.
Updated October 1, 2026: Chase's DoorDash terms now carry the $15 monthly promo for the Sapphire Reserve and the J.P. Morgan Reserve. The "Which cards get it" note below quotes them. Dates in this article that have passed are there on purpose, as the before-and-after.
Checked September 30, 2026, against Chase's Sapphire Reserve anniversary page and its DoorDash terms, Chase's June 15 Sapphire Preferred announcement, American Express's lounge pages, and the sources in each linked article. Point values are our own, as of September 30, 2026.
TL;DR
Chase announced it on its Sapphire Reserve anniversary page: "From Oct. 1, 2026, through the end of 2029, Reserve cardmembers get a complimentary DashPass membership (a $120 annual value), plus up to $35 each month to spend on DoorDash, including: NEW: $15 monthly promo on any qualifying DoorDash order; Two $10 promos each month for groceries, daily essentials and more" (Chase).
What changes, from Chase's current DoorDash terms and that page:
| Through September 30 | From October 1 | |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly promo | $5 off one restaurant order | $15 off any qualifying DoorDash order |
| Non-restaurant promos | Two $10 promos a month | Two $10 promos a month |
| Most you can use in a month | $25 | $35 |
| Over 12 months, if every promo is used | $300 | $420 |
Three things to know before your first October order:
The same Chase page lists five anniversary Chase Offers with two deadlines: IHG by October 16, the other four by December 14. Chase notes "these offers may not be available to all cardmembers." Our Sapphire Reserve 10th-anniversary guide has each one.
Chase's June 15 announcement: "Ultimate Rewards® points will transfer to World of Hyatt® at a rate of 4:3. For example, cardmembers who transfer 1,000 Ultimate Rewards points will receive 750 points with World of Hyatt®." Its FAQ lists the cards: "This update will apply to Sapphire Preferred cardmembers, new and existing Ink Business Preferred cardmembers and existing Ink Plus and Corporate Flex cardmembers, effective October 1, 2026." Sapphire Preferred accounts opened on or after June 15 already had the new rate (Chase newsroom).
In dollars, at our Hyatt value of 1.63 cents a point, 1,000 Chase points sent to Hyatt were worth about $16.30. From October 1, on those four cards, the same 1,000 points are worth about $12.20 at Hyatt. Sapphire Reserve isn't on Chase's list, so its Hyatt transfers stay 1:1. Our World of Hyatt guide covers where Hyatt points go furthest.
The Chase app lists the October to December categories as grocery stores (excluding Walmart and Target), dining, and American Red Cross donations. Chase's terms: "Activate by December 14th and earn a total of 5% cash back from October 1st through December 31st, 2026 on up to $1,500 in combined purchases on Grocery Stores, Dining, and donations to American Red Cross then earn 1% cash back in these categories."
Chase pays this "cash back" in Ultimate Rewards points. Spending the full $1,500 earns 7,500 points: $75 if you cash them out, or $150 at our 2-cent value if you move them to a Sapphire Preferred, Sapphire Reserve or Ink Business Preferred account and transfer them to airline or hotel partners. Our Q4 categories article has the details.
The Freedom Flex adds a dining offer on top. Chase's own math: "1% on every purchase, plus 4% through the quarterly bonus, plus 2% through the dining offer." That's up to 7% on dining until the $1,500 cap, then dining drops back to 3 points per dollar. How the Flex's 7% works.
On October 1, Bilt runs two transfer bonuses, and the size depends on your Bilt tier. Hilton transfers, normally 1:1, get a 75% to 175% bonus, so 1,000 Bilt points become 1,750 to 2,750 Hilton points. Amtrak, normally 2 Bilt points for 1 Amtrak point, gets a 25% to 100% bonus. Bilt Platinum members who transfer to Hilton that day also get Hilton Diamond status through December 31, 2026.
In dollars: at our Hilton value, 1,000 Bilt points sent to Hilton that day buy $7 to $11 of hotel. The same 1,000 points sent to Hyatt, on any day, are worth about $16. Transfers can't be undone. Our Rent Day article has the tier table and the break-even rule.
Starting October 1, Atmos Rewards members choose how Alaska and Hawaiian flights earn points and status points for flights on or after January 1, 2027: 1 point per mile flown, 5 points per $1 of fare before taxes, or a flat 500 points per flight. If you don't pick, you stay on distance, and you can change your choice once a year. How the three ways compare.
