Chase's five Sapphire Reserve anniversary offers total $1,050, but IHG expires October 16 and the rest December 14. Which one is actually free money, and what the contest rules say.
Chase is marking ten years of the Sapphire Reserve with five travel offers, a bigger DoorDash benefit and a points contest. The offers are worth $1,050 at face value. Most of that needs heavy spend at one named partner to unlock, one of them gets you a semi-private flight for about $59, and the deadline several write-ups are quoting for the IHG offer is wrong.
Here is what Chase actually published, read off its own anniversary page on 17 September 2026, the day after it went up.
These are Chase Offers, which means you have to activate each one in your account first. They are not card benefits that apply automatically.

That is the detail to take away. IHG runs on a different, much shorter clock, and it is paid directly with the partner rather than on the partner's website. Several write-ups have printed 14 October for it. Chase's page says 16 October. Either way it is weeks, not months, and if you read one deadline and applied it to all five you would miss this one entirely.
There is no single winner here, and any ranking that ignores your own plans is useless. The right way to read the list is to find the one that overlaps something already taking shape.
If a trip is already in motion, the big rebates pay the most. $350 back on a Wander vacation home, $250 at a Miraval or Alila property through World of Hyatt, $125 on an IHG stay, $125 on a SIXT rental. Twenty-three to twenty-five percent off a booking you were making anyway is straightforwardly the best money on this list. Nothing else here beats a quarter off something you had already decided to buy.
If nothing is booked, JSX is the one that works from a standing start. It returns $200 once you spend $200, where the others want $500 to $1,500 first. We found one-ways around $259, so taking $200 off leaves roughly $59 for a semi-private seat: no crowded terminal, a 30-seat aircraft, and check-in 20 to 30 minutes before takeoff.
That caveat is the same one that applies to any airline. JSX prices by route and date, so $259 is what we saw rather than a fixed fare. Price the route you actually want. If it comes back at $500, this is $200 off a $500 flight rather than a $59 one.
Either way the offer is a discount, not a credit. It pays out against spending, so it is worth the most to whoever was going to spend anyway, and it is worth considering rather than assuming if you were not. One line from Chase to take seriously: "Please note, these offers may not be available to all cardmembers." Chase Offers are targeted. Check your own account before you plan around any of this, because the list you see may not be the list in the announcement.
From 1 October 2026 through the end of 2029, Reserve cardmembers get a complimentary DashPass membership, which Chase values at $120 a year, plus up to $35 each month to spend on DoorDash. That breaks down as a new $15 monthly promo on any qualifying order, and two $10 promos each month for groceries and daily essentials.
This one needs no activation window, no partner booking and no minimum spend. It sits on top of the 3x points on dining and the Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables credits the card already carries, and alongside the StubHub credit we have written about separately. For a cardholder who orders delivery at all, it is likely to be worth more over a year than four of the five travel offers above.
Chase is also giving away 10 million Ultimate Rewards points across 10 finalists.
You will see "5.5 million points" in a lot of coverage. Chase does not print that figure. The arithmetic behind it is that each of ten finalists receives 500,000 points, and one of them wins an additional 5,000,000 by public vote, so the single grand-prize winner ends up with 5.5 million. Everyone else who reaches the final ten gets 500,000.
We went through the official rules. Three things are worth knowing before you spend a weekend on an entry.
It is backdated, so applying now cannot make you eligible. You must have been a Sapphire Reserve primary cardholder in good standing as of 15 September 2026, the day before entries opened. Authorised users do not count. Entries close 6 November 2026 at 5:00 p.m. ET.
It is a judged video contest, and AI is banned outright. The rules prohibit "the use of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning tools, generative AI systems, or similar technologies to create, generate, modify, enhance, or substantially assist in the creation of any portion of an Entry", and they name "automated editing tools" explicitly. Scoring is 80 percent judges, 20 percent public vote, weighted 40 percent on future travel vision, 30 percent storytelling and 30 percent creativity. A hand-cut video of a real trip is the only kind that qualifies.
Entering assigns the copyright. Entrants "irrevocably assign to Sponsor with full title guarantee all intellectual property and other rights" in the entry, "including the copyright therein, the right to make derivative works", royalty-free, worldwide, in perpetuity. If your footage is doing other work, that is a genuine cost rather than boilerplate.
We are not going to tell you your odds, because Chase does not disclose them. Ten prizes against an unknown number of entries, decided on skill rather than chance. Any odds figure you read somewhere is invented.
Check your Chase Offers tab first, because the whole thing is moot if the offers are not in your account.
Match the list against what you already have booked or nearly booked. That overlap, not the size of the rebate, is what decides which of these is worth anything to you. If nothing overlaps and you have ever wanted to try semi-private, JSX is the one that works from scratch: at the roughly $259 one-ways we found, $200 back puts a seat near $59.
Put 16 October in your calendar if you have an IHG stay in mind, and 14 December for the rest. Do not carry one date across all five.
Treat the DoorDash change as the actual benefit upgrade here. It arrives on 1 October, needs nothing from you, and runs for three years.
