Chase launched the IHG One Rewards Premier Select on October 1, 2026 and changed the Premier, Traveler and Premier Business cards. What each adds, what moves, who can get each bonus, and the launch-offer deadline.
Checked October 1, 2026, against Chase's announcement, Chase's new application pages for all four IHG cards and their offer details, and Chase's older IHG card pages, all read that morning. We value an IHG One Rewards point at 0.6 cents, as of October 1, 2026.
TL;DR
Chase calls it a card "built for IHG loyalists seeking rewarding hotel experiences and over $1,000 in value in the first year" (Chase). From its application page and offer details (Chase):
| Benefit | The terms |
|---|---|
| Annual fee | $350 |
| Launch offer | 200,000 points after $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months, plus 10,000 for adding an authorized user in that window |
| Food & Beverage Rewards | One voucher of up to $75 each calendar quarter, up to $300 a year, "to be redeemed for credit against eligible food and beverage on your room bill" at participating IHG hotels |
| Airline credit | $200 a calendar year "when you spend at least $250 on flights purchased directly with the airline," through December 31, 2027 |
| United TravelBank Cash | $25 for January to June and $25 for July to December, after registering the card with your MileagePlus account |
| Anniversary Free Night | Hotels up to 60,000 points, and you can add points from your account above that |
| Automatic status | Platinum Elite |
| Elite Night Credits | 20 at account opening and at the start of each calendar year, plus 2 for every $5,000 spent |
| Points at IHG hotels | Up to 28X in total, 12X of it from the card |
| Everyday earning | 6X on dining and "all other travel, including rideshare," 3X on everything else |
What spending unlocks each calendar year:
In dollars, the three credits come to up to $550 a year, and an anniversary night at a 60,000-point hotel is worth up to $360 at our value. That's up to $910 a year against the $350 fee. Each piece has a condition, though:
The eligibility line is the other thing that sets this card apart. Its terms: "This credit card is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of this credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of this credit card who received a new cardmember bonus for this credit card within the last 24 months." On the Premier and the no-fee card, the same line names "any personal IHG One Rewards Credit Card" instead.
The middle column is Chase's existing Premier page. The right column is the new Premier's application page (Chase).

The status line is the one to check. On the new Premier, automatic status is Gold Elite, and Platinum Elite comes with $15,000 of spending in a calendar year. Chase's announcement doesn't say whether current Premier cardmembers' status changes. It says only that the October notice covers new benefits and their effective dates.
The travel line moves in two steps. Chase's terms keep 5X on travel for purchases that post through December 31, 2026. After that, 5X applies only to "airline tickets when purchased directly with the airline; and car rental agencies," and "all other travel purchases will earn 3 points for each $1 spent."

Each launch page says "Apply by 11/18/2026." On the same morning, Chase's older Premier, Traveler and Premier Business pages were still up with their old offers and fees: 140,000 points at $99, 80,000 points at $0, and 140,000 points after $4,000 at $99.
Chase's announcement: "Existing IHG One Rewards Credit Cardmembers will be notified in October with details about the new and enhanced benefits available to them and the effective date for each update. Annual Fees will be adjusted in 2027."
Chase hasn't said what current cardmembers' new fees will be, or whether their status changes. What to look for in that notice:
Our September 14 article, IHG Premier: 5 Free Nights or 140,000 Points?, has the free-night certificate math. Its offers and fee are from before this announcement.
