We read 6 of them on first-party pages, priced one real award from each program's own chart, and ran the holding test on the six we can value: only Capital One to Japan Airlines beats leaving the points alone. The short version: 8 transfer bonuses are live across 5 programs as of September 5, 2026. We could read four of them on the bank's or the airline's own page, two more rest on British Airways' Avios wording plus our August Amex screenshot, and the last two show only inside a logged-in account. Of the six we can put a value on, exactly one beats holding your points: Capital One to Japan Airlines, 30%, worth $2.95 more per 1,000 miles than leaving them alone. Below each bonus is a real seat or night, priced from the program's own chart, so you can see what the percentage buys. Checked September 5, 2026 and re-checked September 6.
A transfer bonus is only a good deal if the thing on the other side is worth more than what you give up. So this month we did two things for every offer: checked it on a first-party page, and priced one concrete award from the program's own chart.

Two rows say "your logged-in account only". Amex's public transfer page shows Hilton at the plain 2,000 per 1,000 with no bonus, and Chase's public pages do not mention Aeroplan's 20% at all. The points blogs report both, and the Hilton one may be targeted. Log in and look before you count on either.
JAL's own promotion page lists Capital One at "30% bonus miles" for "September 1 (Tue) 0:00 a.m. - September 30, 2026 (Wed) 11:59 p.m." and marks the time "Local time" without naming a zone, so do not leave this for the last hour of the 30th. Capital One's page prints the base: "1,000 Capital One miles convert to 750 miles or points". With the bonus that is 975 JAL miles per 1,000.
JAL's international award chart for members living in the US, updated July 6, 2026, prices New York to Japan one way in business class at 55,000 base miles, plus a fuel surcharge "from USD 405.60" and taxes "from USD 29.00" (JAL dates those cash figures "as of July 1, 2026" and revises the surcharge every two months). The same base price applies from Boston, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego and Seattle.
JAL prints two conditions worth reading. The 55,000 is the "base miles" price: if no base-mile seat is left, JAL lets you book "using additional miles, which vary depending on the estimated number of remaining seats (Award Ticket PLUS)", and the chart's PLUS ceiling for New York in business is 502,000. It also says "Enrollment in JAL Mileage Bank is required to convert loyalty points to JMB miles", so open the account before you transfer. Capital One says you "must have at least 1,000 Capital One rewards miles" to transfer.
British Airways' member offers page says: "Get away sooner with 30% bonus Avios, when you transfer American Express Membership Rewards points to Avios by 27 September 2026." The base on Amex's page is "1,000 Points = 1,000 Avios", in 1,000-point steps, so a transfer lands as 1,300 Avios per 1,000 points. BA prints no cut-off time, so treat September 26 as your last safe day.
On September 5, Aer Lingus's own Avios offers page for North America was showing New York (JFK) to Dublin, round trip in economy, Sep 7 to Sep 18, 2026, "From 24,500 Avios + $467.87". That is a pay-with-Avios fare for those dates rather than a fixed award price; the dates and the cash part on that page change daily, the Avios figure held on September 6.
We could confirm the offer on British Airways' page but not on Iberia's or Aer Lingus's own pages, and Amex's page now labels the Iberia program "Iberia Club" where our August screenshot read "Iberia Plus". Our August screenshot of Amex's transfer page showed all three programs at 1,300 Avios per 1,000 points, and Avios move between the three programs anyway, so the practical answer is the same.
Citi's public ThankYou transfer listing prints the whole offer: "Limited Time Offer: Cardholders with eligible Citi cards can transfer ThankYou Points to Leaders Club and receive 25% bonus points. Offer is valid for Point Transfers to Leaders Club completed by 11:59 PM ET September 19, 2026. Promotion Terms and Conditions Apply."
Most write-ups miss that Citi runs two bases for this partner. On Citi Strata Elite, Citi Strata Premier, Prestige and AT&T Access More, 1,000 ThankYou Points become 200 Leaders Club points, or 250 with the bonus. On the other ThankYou cards (ThankYou Preferred, Strata, Double Cash, Custom Cash, ThankYou Mastercard and the other AT&T cards: Universal Rewards World, Universal Savings and Rewards, Universal Rewards, Points Plus and AT&T Access), 1,000 become 140, or 175 with the bonus. Both get the full 25%, from different starting lines.
Leading Hotels of the World's own FAQ says "Free nights start at approximately 4,000 points. The number of points varies based on each hotel's published room rates for a particular day." So for a night at the bottom of that range:
We do not publish a cent value for Leaders Club points, because it is 400-plus independent luxury hotels with no award chart: the right night can be worth a lot and the wrong one very little. Pick the hotel and the date, price the cash rate, and only then decide. Citi transfers are in 1,000-point steps and cannot be reversed.
Rove's announcement says: "Through September 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET, every 1,000 Rove Miles you transfer will become 1,400 ConnectMiles." Base is 1:1. Copa's Star Alliance partner award chart prices US and Canada to Europe one way in business at 70,000 ConnectMiles.
Two cautions from Copa's own chart: "Awards have limited availability and are subject to capacity controls", and its footnote still dates the mileage amounts to 2015, so confirm the price in the ConnectMiles booking tool before moving anything. Aeroplan's conversion page prints the base: "1,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards Program points = 1,000 Aeroplan points". The 20% bonus through September 30 shows only inside the Chase portal, so we list it as reported rather than seen.
What we could read on both Chase's and Air Canada's pages is the standing Chase Aeroplan cardmember benefit: "If you, as the primary cardmember, also have an eligible Chase credit card with Ultimate Rewards, you will be eligible to receive a 10% bonus after you transfer 50,000 or more Ultimate Rewards points in a single transaction to Aeroplan. Maximum of 25,000 bonus points per calendar year." That is where the "30%" in some headlines comes from: the 20% promo plus this 10%, and only on a single transfer of 50,000 or more by the primary cardmember. A 30,000-point transfer gets 20%.
Aeroplan's Flight Reward Chart (2026-08 edition) prices North America to the Atlantic zone, up to 4,000 miles flown, in business class at "All other partners: 60,000 pts" one way. That covers Star Alliance partner flights such as New York to Lisbon on TAP or New York to Frankfurt on Lufthansa. It does not cover United: the chart lists United among its "Select Partners", which share Air Canada's dynamic row, "Starting at 60,000 pts, Median: 133,800 pts", and the chart adds that "Starting at" amounts are not guaranteed with all carriers. So the fixed 60,000 for all other partners is the reliable price.
Aeroplan adds "A partner booking fee will apply to flight rewards which include travel with a partner airline."
Without logging in, Amex's transfer page shows Hilton at "1,000 Points = 2,000 Hilton Honors Points" and nothing else. The 30% through October 14 is reported by several outlets and may be targeted. If your account shows it, hilton.com was pricing the Hilton Cabana Miami Beach Resort at 90,000 points a night for a standard room reward on November 10, 2026, so:
Hilton prices are dynamic, so that number is for that date only.
Points you already hold are worth something. We value each currency, and those values are used across this site. The test is whether 1,000 points buy more on the far side than they were worth sitting still. Leaders Club and ConnectMiles are left out because we hold no valuation for either.
Read the table like this. 1,000 Amex points are worth $19.00 today. Send them to Hilton and they become 2,600 Hilton points, which we value at $10.40. You end up with $8.60 less than you started with. The last column says that in words for every transfer.

Only the JAL transfer comes out ahead, and it does so because JAL miles are strong (we value them at 2.2 cents) even though 1,000 Capital One miles become only 750 JAL miles before the bonus. Amex to Hilton Honors is the furthest behind: a 30% bonus on a currency we value at 0.4 cents is still a 0.4-cent currency.
Those values are averages, and a transfer bonus is how you beat an average. The JAL business seat above is worth far more than 2.2 cents a mile if you would have paid cash for it, and worth nothing if you would not. So the rule stands: find the seat, price it, confirm it is bookable on your dates, then move the points. Transfers are one way.

Two program-to-program bonuses are also running, both printed on the source program's own page. Wyndham Rewards is paying 20% extra on transfers to Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer through September 17, 2026 at 23:59 Beijing time, on its usual 5:1 rate: Wyndham's example is "6,000 Wyndham Rewards points = 1,200 base KF Miles + 240 bonus miles = 1,440 total KF Miles". One catch: Wyndham caps the bonus at 100,000 KF Miles in total, "awarded on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last", and says the promotion "may end earlier than scheduled", so it may already be gone. Emirates Skywards is paying 30% extra on conversions to Marriott Bonvoy, "with a minimum conversion of 3,000 Miles", through 23:59 Gulf time on September 30, 2026: 3,000 Skywards Miles normally become 2,000 Marriott points, and 2,600 with the bonus. Emirates publishes that offer on its UAE and UK sites, not its US site, and does not say who is eligible, so check your own Skywards account before converting. Neither turns a weak rate into a strong one; both are there if you were converting anyway.
