Atmos Summit Bonus: 100,000 Points on Alaska's Page

Alaska's Atmos page shows the Summit card at 100,000 points plus a companion award, and the Ascent at up to 80,000. Bank of America's page shows less.

Read October 24 and 25, 2026 on Alaska's own Atmos Rewards card pages and on Bank of America's product pages for the same cards. Offers are as of October 25, 2026.

Search for the Atmos Rewards Summit card and you'll most likely land on Bank of America's page, which shows 70,000 bonus points and a 25,000-point Global Companion Award. That's the offer most people apply for.

Alaska's own Atmos Rewards page for the same card shows more: 100,000 bonus points and the same companion award. The smaller Ascent card has the same gap, 50,000 on Bank of America's page against up to 80,000 on Alaska's.

TL;DR

The Summit: 100,000 or 70,000

Alaska's Atmos Rewards Summit card page, read October 25, 2026: "Earn 100,000 bonus points and a 25,000-point Global Companion Award. After spending $6,000 or more on purchases within the first 90 days after account opening."

Atmos Rewards Summit Alaska's Atmos page Bank of America's page
Bonus points 100,000 70,000
Global Companion Award 25,000 points 25,000 points
Spend in the first 90 days $6,000 $3,000
Annual fee $395 $395

Bank of America's page calls its version a "Limited-time online offer." Alaska's says: "This online only offer may not be available elsewhere if you leave this page. You can take advantage of this offer when you apply now."

What the companion award is, from Bank of America's terms: it's "valid for up to 25,000 Atmos™ Rewards points off a published award ticket" for a companion on the same itinerary, booked on alaskaair.com, and it "must be redeemed within 12 months of the date of issue." Alaska's page adds that cardholders get a 25,000-point award every anniversary, and "a 100,000-point Global Companion Award after spending $60,000 or more on purchases in a card anniversary year."

We used one ourselves: two of us flew to Paris for 30,000 points, a 27,500-point American Airlines award plus the Summit's 25,000-point companion award.

The Summit's other benefits on Alaska's page: two Alaska Lounge day passes each quarter, and 3 points per $1 on eligible dining, foreign transactions, and Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines purchases.

The Ascent: up to 80,000 or 50,000

Alaska's Atmos Rewards Ascent card page, read October 25, 2026: "Earn up to 80,000 bonus points + $99 Companion Fare. Earn 60,000 bonus points after spending $3,000 or more on purchases within the first 90 days of account opening. Earn an additional 20,000 bonus points after reaching $5,000 in total qualifying purchases within the same 90 days period."

Atmos Rewards Ascent Alaska's Atmos page Bank of America's page
Bonus points 60,000 after $3,000, plus 20,000 at $5,000 50,000 after $1,500
$99 Companion Fare After $5,000 in 90 days With the bonus
Annual fee $95 $95

The Companion Fare, from Bank of America's terms, is a round-trip Saver or Main Cabin fare within North America "from $122 (USD) ($99 base fare plus taxes and fees, from $23...)". After the first year, you earn one "each account anniversary after you spend $6,000 or more on purchases within the prior anniversary year."

Alaska's page also lists a free checked bag and preferred boarding "for you and up to six guests on the same reservation when you pay for your flight with your card."

What the extra points are worth

We value Atmos points at 1.55 cents each. The bonuses at that value:

Card Alaska's page Bank of America's page Difference
Summit 100,000 = about $1,550 70,000 = about $1,085 about $465, for $3,000 more spend
Ascent up to 80,000 = about $1,240 50,000 = about $775 about $465, for $3,500 more spend

The companion award and the Companion Fare come with either version, so they don't change the difference.

How to check your own

  1. Start from Alaska's card page, at alaskaair.com under Atmos Rewards credit cards, and read the offer at the top before you apply. Alaska says it may not follow you if you leave the page.
  2. Check whether the spend fits your next 90 days. The bigger offers need $6,000 on the Summit and $5,000 for the full Ascent bonus.
  3. Read Bank of America's terms on the application for who's eligible. Bank of America decides the approval.
