With that said, Virgin Voyages is one of the more interesting things happening in travel right now, and if you have never looked at it, the pitch is simple: it is an adults-only cruise line where the fare quietly covers most of what usually turns into a giant bill at the end of a cruise. Virgin Voyages describes itself as "the adults-only, award-winning cruise line," and it means the adults-only part literally: the ships are 18 and over, with "no kids, no buffets, no limits." There are four ships, all named "Lady": Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady, Resilient Lady, and the newest, Brilliant Lady.
The thing that sets it apart is the pricing. Virgin calls it "over $1,000 in value" that comes included in every fare:
One honest guardrail so you set expectations correctly: this is what Virgin itself calls "almost all-inclusive," not all-inclusive. Alcohol is extra, charged per drink rather than through a package (beer runs about $7 to $9, a basic cocktail about $11, tip included). There is no forced drink package, which many people prefer, but you should budget for your own bar bill.

This is the part almost every write-up gets wrong, because the two deadlines are not on the same page.
Every voyage, book by August 31, 2026. Virgin's words on its deals page: "Book any voyage by August 31st and you'll get a balcony upgrade on us, plus 70% off your plus-one." That is a free balcony upgrade on all sailings plus 70% off the second person in the cabin, on four ships across the Caribbean, North America, Europe and transatlantic routes, for travel from August 1, 2026 to October 28, 2028.
Europe voyages, book by August 19, 2026. The Europe sale is the same balcony upgrade and the same 70% off your second Sailor, with onboard credit added on top. Virgin's terms put the window precisely: bookings from 12:01am ET on August 13, 2026 through 11:59pm ET on August 19, 2026.
The credit is per cabin, and it is tiered by cabin type and voyage length rather than a flat $500:

Europe sailings run on three ships, Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady and Resilient Lady, from August 20, 2026 to October 22, 2028. Virgin's terms list specific eligible sailing dates rather than opening it to every Europe departure, so check your date against the terms before you count on the credit.
Why the gap between the two dates matters. Book a Europe voyage on August 25 and you still get the balcony upgrade and the 70%, because the wider offer runs to the 31st. What you lose is the Sailor Loot, up to $500 of it, for booking six days late. Nothing on the main deals page tells you that.
Because a cruise fare here is priced per cabin for two, knocking 70% off the second person is a real dent in the total. One honest reading of that number: it is 70% off the SECOND fare, not off your total. Two people do not sail for 30% of the price.

For a longer trip, Italy and French Riviera, 9 nights on Scarlet Lady from Rome, runs through Sicily, Naples for Pompeii and Capri, Corsica, Cannes, and Florence.
North America. Alaska: Inside Passage and Glacial Fjords, 7 nights on Brilliant Lady out of Seattle, visits Ketchikan, Juneau, and Prince Rupert. Closer to the East Coast, the Bermuda Overnight, 5 nights on Valiant Lady out of New York City, parks at the Royal Naval Dockyard for two days, from about $1,192 per cabin for two on a late-September 2026 date.
