Marriott Boundless 200K: Worth It? It Covers 5 Nights in Cancun

Chase shows 200,000 points on the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless after $3,000 in 3 months, this week only. Marriott's Stay 5, Pay 4 rule turns that into five nights at The Westin Cancun.

Read November 6, 2026 on Chase's Marriott Bonvoy Boundless page and in Marriott Bonvoy's program terms. We priced the hotel on marriott.com the same morning. Offers and award prices are as of November 6, 2026.

Chase's Marriott Bonvoy Boundless card is showing 200,000 bonus points this week. That's enough for five nights at The Westin Cancun Resort & Spa in March, with points left over. The trick is a Marriott rule: book five award nights in one reservation, and one of them is free.

The card also pays back up to $100 on airline tickets. Here's how the pieces fit.

TL;DR

The offer, in Chase's words

Chase's Marriott Bonvoy Boundless page on November 6, 2026: 200,000 bonus points, $100 in airline credits, and an "Offer ending soon" banner

Chase's page says: "This week only: Earn 200,000 Bonus Points after spending $3,000 on eligible purchases within 3 months of account opening with the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card."

A banner above it reads "OFFER ENDING SOON." Chase doesn't print the end date. If you want this offer, apply while Chase's page still shows it.

The offer we had on file before this one was 3 Free Night Awards, each good at hotels up to 50,000 points a night (here's what a certificate is actually worth). Points are more flexible than certificates: you pick the hotel, the dates and how many nights.

At our value of 0.77 cents per Marriott point, 200,000 points are worth about $1,540.

How 200,000 points becomes five nights

Marriott's redemption page puts the rule in one line: "Stay 5, Pay 4. Receive a complimentary night when you redeem for five consecutive nights."

The program terms add the details:

So book all five nights in one reservation. If the price changes from night to night, the cheapest night is the free one.

We searched marriott.com with points for The Westin Cancun Resort & Spa, Monday, March 8 to Saturday, March 13, 2027, one room for two guests. A Deluxe Guest room with one king bed, a lagoon view and a balcony came back at a PointSavers rate: "was 243,000" points, now 194,400 points for the stay. That's 48,600 points a night. You pay for four nights, and the fifth is free.

Marriott's rate page for The Westin Cancun Resort & Spa, March 8 to 13, 2027: five nights was 243,000 points, now 194,400 points with the fifth night free

The bonus covers that stay with 5,600 points to spare.

Award prices move with demand. These are the prices we saw on November 6. Check your own dates before you count on them.

Where the $100 for flights comes in

The card has a second offer, separate from the bonus. For new cardmembers, Chase's terms say:

For a March trip, that splits neatly. Buy one ticket directly from the airline by December 31, 2026, and the other on or after January 1, 2027. Each purchase needs to be $250 or more to unlock its $50. Chase says to allow 6 to 8 weeks for each credit to show up.

The catches

Check the offer before you click a referral link

If a friend sends you a Chase referral link for this card, look at the offer on the page before you apply. On November 6, Chase's referral page for the Boundless still showed 3 Free Night Awards, not 200,000 points.

How to do it

  1. Check the eligibility list in Chase's terms.
  2. Apply on Chase's own Boundless page while it shows 200,000 points. You can compare the card on our Marriott Bonvoy Boundless card page.
  3. Spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months.
  4. Buy one airline ticket directly from the airline for $250 or more by December 31, 2026, and another on or after January 1, 2027.
  5. When the points post, search marriott.com with "Use Points/Awards" and book all five nights in one reservation.

This is educational content, not financial advice. Offers change often, so check the current terms on Chase's and Marriott's sites before you rely on them.
