The short version: Southwest is taking up to 40% off base fares and the booking window closes Wednesday, August 13. Two cashback portals are paying 100% back on four different security apps. Southwest's own booking page says it plainly: "Up to 40% off base fares", and the fine print reads, verbatim: "Book by 8/13 for travel on select flights between 8/31/26-3/3/27. Discount automatically applied."

Right now two portals are paying back the full purchase price on security apps, as cashback to your portal account. This is the rare case where "100%" means the math is simple: pay $60 for a plan, get $60 back.

Two honest caveats. First, each store page carries its own terms on which plans qualify — read the store page before you buy, not after. Second, portal cashback posts to your portal account after the retailer confirms the purchase, which takes weeks, not minutes. You are floating the money in the meantime.
One of the four spells its rules out, and they are worth reading as a template for the rest. Coveron is NordProtect's new name, and Rakuten's offer terms read, in part: "Cash Back is only available for new users and on the first payment of a subscription plan. Limited to one per member." The terms also state cashback is fully earned on Scam Protection and Identity Protection plans, while Full Protection plans earn only on the Coveron portion of a bundled subscription. And the special terms close the rename loophole: "If you have already earned Cash Back with NordProtect, you are not eligible for Cash Back with Coveron." Expect the other 100% offers to carry similar new-user, first-payment language.
If you have been meaning to put a VPN or password manager on your accounts anyway, this is the week the price rounds to zero. If you were not, 100% back on something you do not need is still $0 saved.

The move that actually saves money: price your hotel the way you normally would, then check whether booking the same room through the portal click-through changes the price. 12% back on a $400 IHG stay is $48. That is real, but only if the room price is the same one you would have paid anyway.

The math on a $125 tour: $17.50 back from Rakuten, plus $10 from the Chase Offer (the 8% hits its $10 cap right at $125). That is $27.50 back on $125, about 22%, for clicking through a portal and tapping "add" on an offer you already had.
Two Delta pages are making the rounds this week. Here is the honest split:
The SkyMiles Award Deals page is live. Pick your origin city and it lists date-specific award fares. Reading it from Austin on August 11, for example: New Orleans at 13,400 miles + $12 round trip, Nashville at 16,700 + $12, Honolulu at 43,800 + $12, and Hong Kong at 60,000 miles + $84 round trip. Fares are date-specific, and Delta's terms say they are based on real-time availability and can change before ticketing, so treat any number you see as "verify at booking."
The flash-sale page is over. Delta's own page now reads, "this sale has wrapped up." If someone sends you that link this week, that is the answer; the award-deals page above is where the live inventory is.
