Two Marriott Card Offers End September 30, and Both Pay You in Points and Dollars

Amex is running elevated offers on all three Marriott Bonvoy cards: the Brilliant at 150,000 points plus a $250 statement credit and the Bevy at 125,000 plus $150, both ending September 30, 2026, and the Business card at 100,000 points plus a capped Free Night Award through November 4. Why the statement credit is the part everyone drops, and what each is worth at our published Bonvoy valuation.

Two Marriott Card Offers End September 30, and Both Pay You in Points and Dollars

American Express is running elevated welcome offers on all three of its Marriott Bonvoy cards. Two of them stop on September 30, 2026, which is nineteen days from today.

The part most coverage will drop: two of these three pay a statement credit on top of the points. That is real money, and leaving it out of the headline understates what the offer is worth.

The three offers, as published

Card Annual fee Welcome offer Spend Offer ends
Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant $650 150,000 points + $250 statement credit $6,000 in 6 months September 30, 2026
Marriott Bonvoy Bevy $250 125,000 points + $150 statement credit $5,000 in 6 months September 30, 2026
Marriott Bonvoy Business $125 100,000 points + 1 Free Night Award $8,000 in 6 months November 4, 2026

The Business card runs five weeks longer than the other two.

Why the statement credit matters more than it looks

Marriott Bonvoy points are worth about 0.77 cents each on our published valuation, last verified July 7, 2026. That is an estimate rather than a rate Marriott guarantees, and the real number moves with the property you book.

Run the Brilliant at that rate and the shape of the offer changes:

150,000 points at 0.77 cents about $1,155
Statement credit $250
Total about $1,405

That $250 is worth more than 32,000 Bonvoy points. An article that reports this offer as "150,000 points" is leaving out a component larger than a third of the card's annual fee, and it is the component that arrives as actual dollars rather than as a currency you then have to redeem well.

Same arithmetic on the Bevy: 125,000 points is about $963, and the $150 credit takes it to roughly $1,113 against a $250 fee.

The Business card is the different one

It pays 100,000 points and a Free Night Award rather than points and dollars, and Amex states the award's ceiling plainly: "The Free Night Award has a redemption level up to 50,000 points."

That cap is the whole story with free night certificates. A 50,000-point ceiling is worth about $385 at our valuation if you aim it at a property that actually prices near the cap, and considerably less if you burn it on a weeknight at an airport hotel. Certificates reward planning in a way that points do not.

It also asks the most spending of the three, $8,000, which is the highest bar on this list and the reason it is a business card.

Which one, honestly

If you stay at Marriott often enough to use a premium card's benefits, the Brilliant is the biggest offer here, and it is also the biggest annual fee at $650. The welcome offer does not answer the question of whether you keep it in year two; the card's ongoing credits do, and those are a separate calculation.

If you want the offer without the $650 commitment, the Bevy asks $250 a year and $5,000 of spending, and still pays a nine-hundred-dollar-plus points haul plus $150 back.

If you have a business, the Business card at $125 is the cheapest fee of the three, but note it trades the statement credit for a capped certificate and asks the most spending.

If none of those fit, wait. Marriott offers cycle, and a deadline is not a reason to open a card you would not otherwise want. September 30 is a real date, not a reason to panic.

One caveat on every Amex offer

These are as-high-as offers. The one you are shown when you apply can differ from the one on the public page, depending on your history with Amex and how you reach the application. Check what your own application screen says before counting on any number, including the ones here.
