Triple-Stacking the Chase Sapphire Reserve StubHub Credit With Paze and Rove (2026)

Chase Sapphire Reserve already hands you $300 a year in StubHub credits. Pay through Paze and route the click through Rove, and the same purchase earns 10x Ultimate Rewards from Chase and 9x Rove Miles on top — three reward layers on one transaction.

TL;DR

Most "stack" stories layer two things and call it a day. This one layers three, all first-party documented, all firing on a single StubHub transaction if you set it up right. Here's how each piece works, what counts as eligible, and the order to do them in.

What you need before you start

That's the setup once. After that the stack just happens on every StubHub purchase you route through it.

Layer 1: the StubHub credit you're already paying for

Chase Sapphire Reserve's StubHub credit is structured as two separate $150 buckets per cardmember year, one in H1 and one in H2. Use $150 between January and June, get a $150 statement credit. Use a separate $150 between July and December, get another. The credit covers StubHub and viagogo purchases. The benefit runs through December 31, 2027 unless Chase extends or replaces it.

Two things to internalize:

So the cheapest dollar in this whole stack is the one you'd have spent on StubHub anyway: Chase is giving it back to you regardless of Paze or Rove.

Layer 2: Paze 10x at StubHub

In May 2026 Chase quietly launched a promotion paying 10 additional Ultimate Rewards points per $1 to Sapphire and Freedom cardholders who check out using Paze at participating merchants. The full promo:

The participating merchant directory is published at paze.com/merchant-directory, and StubHub is on it, in the Travel & Entertainment category. So a $150 StubHub purchase paid with CSR through Paze earns 1,500 bonus UR points on top of whatever the card normally earns at StubHub.

For the playbook on which Chase cards stack best for the broader Paze promo, see our Chase Paze 10X guide.

Layer 3: Rove's 9x at StubHub

Rove is a shopping portal, same idea as the airline shopping malls, but Rove's currency is a transferable mile that can move to airline programs or be used directly to book travel at variable rates (up to 25x on hotels, 1–10x on flights, per Rove's own published rates).

At StubHub right now, Rove is paying 9x Rove Miles per $1 spent, boosted from a 6.5x base rate. Activate the offer in the Rove shopping portal (or via Rove's Chrome extension), click through to StubHub from there, complete checkout in the same session, and the miles post automatically. A $150 StubHub purchase = 1,350 Rove Miles, fully separate from the Chase Ultimate Rewards layer.

A couple of operational notes:

The math on a $150 ticket

Let's pin numbers to the abstract. You buy a $150 ticket on StubHub. You're enrolled in the CSR credit, you check out via Paze, and you clicked through Rove first.

Layer What posts Where it lands
CSR StubHub credit (H1 or H2) $150 statement credit Your CSR statement
Paze 10X bonus +1,500 Ultimate Rewards points Your UR balance
Rove 9x +1,350 Rove Miles Your Rove account
CSR base earn Your card's normal earn rate on the purchase Your UR balance

Net out-of-pocket: $0 (the credit reimburses the purchase). Earn on $0 net spend: 1,500 UR + 1,350 Rove Miles + the card's normal earn, all on a transaction that already cost you nothing.

A 1,500-point Ultimate Rewards bonus is worth at least $15 in cash redemption and meaningfully more if you transfer to a partner like Hyatt or use the Sapphire Reserve's Points Boost on a premium-cabin transfer. The Rove Miles are a separate ecosystem, so value them based on what you'd actually redeem them for.

The order matters

Do these in this sequence to make sure all three layers register:

  1. Activate the StubHub credit on the Chase Ultimate Rewards perks page (one-time per cardmember year).
  2. Open Rove, search StubHub, hit the Activate Offer button (or trust the extension), and click through to StubHub from Rove. Don't navigate to StubHub from a search engine or bookmark — that breaks Rove's tracking.
  3. Build your cart on StubHub. Stay in the same browser session you arrived in.
  4. At checkout, choose Paze as the payment method and select your Sapphire Reserve.
  5. Verify. When the charge posts, check your Chase activity for the statement credit, your UR balance for the Paze 10X bonus, and your Rove account for the miles.

If you toggle Paze in the Chase Mobile app first, the wallet recognizes your CSR automatically. If you skip the Rove click-through, you lose Layer 3 but the credit and Paze 10X still post.

What can break the stack

When this stack expires

Each layer has its own clock:

Paze 10X is the most time-sensitive of the three. If you've been sitting on StubHub purchases (concert tickets, sporting events you've been eyeing, gifts), the second half of 2026 is the highest-EV window this stack will see all year.

FAQ

Do I have to use Paze for the StubHub credit to work? No. The CSR's $300/yr StubHub credit fires on any StubHub or viagogo purchase made with the activated Sapphire Reserve, Paze or no Paze. Paze adds the 10X bonus layer. They're independent.

Does the Paze 10X bonus stack with my normal CSR earn rate? Yes. Chase's promo language is explicit that 10X is additional points on top of the card's regular earn at the merchant.

Is StubHub really on Paze's merchant list? Yes. It's published at paze.com/merchant-directory in the Travel & Entertainment category, alongside Roku, Sephora, ShopRite, and others. The directory is paginated, so scroll if you don't see it on the first page.

Are Rove Miles the same as Ultimate Rewards? No, they're a separate currency. Rove has its own transfer partners and its own internal redemption rates. The Rove layer is independent of the Chase layer.

What if I miss the H1 window on the StubHub credit? The H1 $150 doesn't roll over. H2 starts fresh on July 1 with its own $150.

Can I use the credit on a debit card or another Chase card? No. The StubHub statement credit is specific to the Chase Sapphire Reserve. Paze 10X is wider (covers Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Preferred, Freedom, Freedom Unlimited, Freedom Flex). The triple-stack only works with CSR because the credit only works with CSR.
