This offer ended on October 22, 2026. Air India's FLYUS code ended at 23:59 IST on October 22, 2026. The prices below are from October 21.
Checked October 21, 2026 on airindia.com, logged out: one adult, prices in U.S. dollars exactly as Air India's booking engine showed them, taxes included. Figures are as of October 21, 2026.
Air India's FLYUS offer page leads with the big number: "Up to ₹20,000* off base fare," which the page puts at "up to ₹20,000 / USD 200." Most people read that as $200 off a ticket between India and the U.S., and the code ends Thursday.
On every economy search we ran, FLYUS took $53 off. Air India's own booking engine explains why: the code's cap depends on the cabin, and only First reaches the $200.
TL;DR
- FLYUS ends at 23:59 IST on Thursday, October 22, 2026, which is 1:29 p.m. Central. It works on India–U.S. flights operated by Air India, booked on Air India's website or app.
- The cap depends on the cabin. Air India's booking engine lists it per cabin: up to INR 5,000 in economy (shown as $53), INR 7,500 in premium economy ($79), INR 15,000 in business ($158) and INR 20,000 in First, the $200 on the offer page.
- What it did on our searches, economy, Wednesday, January 13, 2027: New York (JFK) to Delhi went from $789.40 to $736.40, and San Francisco to Delhi from $1,194.60 to $1,141.60.
- A round trip still saves $53 in total, not $53 each way.
- The discount comes off the base fare only. Taxes and fees don't change.
What Air India's page says
The offer page: "Fly between India and the USA and save up to ₹20,000 / USD 200 on base fare using promo code FLYUS. Book by 22 October 2026 to avail the offer." The terms set the cutoff at "23:59 hours IST on 22 October 2026."

From the terms, the rules that decide whether a booking qualifies:
- "The advertised discount under the Offer is applicable on the base fare only." The maximum is "INR 20,000 / USD 200."
- It's "valid for both one-way and round-trip bookings for flights between India and the United States only," and "applicable only on flights operated by Air India."
- "The Offer is applicable for adult passengers only; children and infants are excluded." Group bookings, multi-city bookings, and bookings with Maharaja Club points or Cash + Points don't qualify, and it "cannot be combined with any other promotions."
- Tickets are "non-endorsable and non-reroutable, and no name changes shall be permitted," and seats are limited, "first-come, first-served."
Why it's $53, not $200
When you enter FLYUS, Air India's booking engine shows the offer's terms by cabin: "Get up to INR 5000 off on US Economy class flights," INR 7,500 on premium economy, INR 15,000 on business and INR 20,000 on First. Our searches matched those caps: $53 off economy, $79 off premium economy, and $158 off business.

What the code did on our searches
One adult, economy, Wednesday, January 13, 2027, cheapest fare on Air India's own flights:
| Route |
Flights |
Without FLYUS |
With FLYUS |
| New York (JFK) to Delhi |
AI 116 and AI 2588, 1 stop in Mumbai |
$789.40 |
$736.40 |
| New York (JFK) to Delhi, nonstop |
AI 102 |
$976.60 |
$923.60 |
| San Francisco to Delhi |
AI 184, 1 stop in Vienna |
$1,194.60 |
$1,141.60 |
| New York to Delhi and back, January 13 to 27 |
AI 116 and AI 2588 out, AI 2805 and AI 119 back |
$1,127.15 |
$1,074.15 |
On the round trip, the $53 was split between the two directions, so the cap applies to the booking, not to each flight. On the cheapest New York fare, the code took $525.00 of base fare down to $472.00, and the $264.40 in taxes and fees stayed the same.

Two things the page doesn't make obvious
- The logged-in extra. The offer page says logged-in users "can enjoy an additional discount of up to 15%." We searched logged out, so the prices above don't include it. The convenience-fee discount applies only to bookings that start in India: the terms say it doesn't apply to bookings "originating from the United States."
- A line that disagrees with the offer page. The per-cabin terms in the booking engine say the code "can be used only once per user" and is for "bookings made through the Air India mobile app." The offer page says the website and the app, and on the website the code applied: "Promo code FLYUS was successfully applied."
How to check your own fare
- Search your route and dates on airindia.com or the Air India app with FLYUS in the promo code box.
- Compare the cabins, not just the headline. Economy is capped at INR 5,000; the bigger caps sit in premium economy, business and First.
- Price the same flights without the code too. The difference is the saving, and it comes off the base fare only.
- Book before 23:59 IST on October 22, which is 1:29 p.m. Central, 11:29 a.m. Pacific and 2:29 p.m. Eastern.
