Read October 31, 2026 on Rakuten's Holiday Big Deal Reveal page, on Rakuten's own blog post about it, and on each of the ten stores' Rakuten pages, all signed out. Facts are as of October 31, 2026. Rakuten's rates change without notice, and the store page on the day is the final word.
Rakuten's Holiday Big Deal Reveal runs from Sunday, November 1 through Tuesday, November 10: one brand a day, one day only, at a cash back rate between 12% and 30%. Every deal site will print the calendar this weekend. The calendar is the less useful half of the story. The useful half is what each of those ten stores pays through Rakuten today, because three of them are already boosted, and one of the three gains only three points on its reveal day. Put the two numbers side by side and the ten days sort themselves.
The money is the same whether you take it as cash or as points. Rakuten pays Amex Membership Rewards points at 100 points per dollar of cash back, so a 30% day is 3,000 points on a $100 order, and a 15% day is 1,500. If you are new to Rakuten, the first order you make on any reveal day can also clear the $50 referral bonus, which is 5,000 more points.
The short version:
Rakuten's event page shows a calendar with ten dates, ten logos and ten rates, and nothing else about the terms. The sign-up prompt on the same page reads "10 big days of 10 big deals. Shop up to 30% Cash Back, November 1-10."

Rakuten's blog post, dated October 30, 2026, spells out the mechanics: "It starts Nov. 1, and every day for 10 days Rakuten pulls back the curtain on a new brand with a special Cash Back rate." The lineup, in Rakuten's words:
On how to earn it: "Open the Rakuten app, the browser extension or the website. Search for the store and click through. Shop and check out as usual." And the line that matters most: "before you buy, open the store's page on Rakuten and check its terms and exclusions, since every store sets its own." The post lists no start or end times for any day.

The second column is Rakuten's own number. The third is what the same store's Rakuten page showed on October 31, 2026, signed out. The last column is the reveal rate as Amex Membership Rewards points on a $100 order, at Rakuten's 100 points per dollar of cash back.
| Date | Store | Reveal-day rate | Rakuten's rate today, Oct 31 | Amex points per $100 on the day |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sunday, November 1 | Dick's Sporting Goods | 15% | Up to 2% | 1,500 |
| Monday, November 2 | Foot Locker | 25% | 3% | 2,500 |
| Tuesday, November 3 | Expedia | 12% on hotels | Up to 3% | 1,200 |
| Wednesday, November 4 | Gap | 20% | 2% | 2,000 |
| Thursday, November 5 | Dermstore | 23% | 3% | 2,300 |
| Friday, November 6 | Lands' End | 20% | Up to 8%, was 2% | 2,000 |
| Saturday, November 7 | AliExpress | 30% | 18%, was 2% | 3,000 |
| Sunday, November 8 | Dyson | 15% | 12% online, was 1% | 1,500 |
| Monday, November 9 | Skechers | 30% | 3% | 3,000 |
| Tuesday, November 10 | QVC | 20% | 2% | 2,000 |
Seven rows are the kind of jump the calendar implies: a store that pays 2% or 3% on an ordinary day paying five to ten times that for one day. Foot Locker at 25%, Skechers at 30%, Gap and QVC at 20% from a 2% base, Dermstore at 23% from 3%. If you were going to buy from any of those stores this month anyway, the date is worth a reminder on your phone.
Three of the ten stores are not at their base rate today. Their Rakuten pages show a raised rate and the "was" figure next to it.

Dyson is the one that barely moves. Rakuten pays 12% online on Dyson today, up from 1%. Dyson's reveal day, Sunday, November 8, pays 15%. That is three points more, or $3 per $100, for waiting eight days and hoping the 12% is still there in the meantime. If you have a Dyson in the cart this week, the reveal day is not a reason to wait. Dyson's own exclusions on Rakuten's page today rule out refurbished items, spare parts, replacement parts and accessories, among other things, so read that list before you count on any rate.
AliExpress is already at 18%. Its reveal day, Saturday, November 7, pays 30%, so the wait is worth twelve points per dollar. On a $100 order that is $12 more, or 1,200 more Amex points. Rakuten's exclusions for AliExpress today: "Cash Back is not available on bulk orders, wholesale orders, reseller orders, gift cards or purchases made with gift cards." Rakuten's blog adds its own caution about delivery estimates on AliExpress orders if the gift has to arrive in time.
Lands' End is at up to 8%. Friday, November 6 pays 20%. The "up to" on today's rate means some categories pay less than 8%, and Lands' End's exclusions on Rakuten's page today include gift card redemption, gift wrapping and embroidery or personalization, so a monogrammed order is the wrong order for the reveal day.
Tuesday, November 3 pays 12% on hotels only, against Expedia's "up to 3%" today. Twelve percent on a $1,000 hotel booking is $120, or 12,000 Amex points, which is more than any other single day on this calendar is likely to pay most people. The catch is who you are. If you collect hotel points or chase elite status, check your hotel program's rules on third-party bookings before you move a stay you would have booked direct. If the stay was going to be booked through an online travel agency anyway, this is the day to book it.
Rakuten pays its cash back as cash by default, or as Amex Membership Rewards points or Bilt Points if you link a card. The conversions, from Rakuten's and Bilt's own pages:
We quoted those pages in full this morning in our Alliant checking article, with the screenshots, and the Rakuten card stacking guide covers which card to pay with so the purchase earns twice.
Rakuten's Refer-a-Friend terms, read today, pay a new member $50 after "Qualifying Purchase(s) totaling at least $50 within 90 days of signing up," for sign-ups between October 1 and December 31, 2026. A qualifying purchase is any purchase that earns cash back or points through Rakuten, which every reveal-day order is. One order of $50 or more on any day from November 1 to 10 clears it, and Rakuten adds the bonus to your next cash back payment or points transfer. At Amex rates, that is 5,000 more points on top of whatever the day paid.
If you join through our Rakuten referral link, Rakuten pays us $50 when you make $50 of qualifying purchases within 90 days. Rakuten's own Amex landing page offers a different welcome bonus, 5,000 points after $25 of purchases, and Rakuten's terms say the two do not stack, so pick one. The referral is the larger of the two by 5,000 points at the $50 mark, and the 90-day window covers both parts of the Reveal.
Rakuten's blog: "Part 2 of the Holiday Big Deal Reveal begins Dec. 2, and every store in it is new." The named stores are Neiman Marcus, Under Armour, Lego, Columbia and iHerb. No rates and no dates per store are published yet, so there is nothing to plan around beyond the start date, Wednesday, December 2.
